David Anastos grew up in New England surrounded by classic homes that awakened a love of carpentry and an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship. He worked most summers from high school through college, as well as part-time as a journeyman carpenter renovating classic homes.

After graduating from The University of Colorado with an Anthropology degree, David began his career as a journeyman cabinetmaker, honing his skills in the woodshop and cultivating his love for the trade. After building a wide array of pieces ranging from custom cabinets and wine cellars to rocking chairs and a guitar, David gravitated toward the commercial sector working in management on large government contracts at army bases and Denver International Airport.

In early 2020, he established his own workshop, Clean Cut Carpentry, and in collaboration with local designers, has devoted himself to crafting the finest custom millwork, cabinetry, and furniture available.

Today David works closely with architects, designers, and homeowners, renovating homes and crafting cabinetry, furniture, and millwork to meet each customer’s taste and lifestyle.

He arrives to work each day, exercising and improving his craft, mindful of his impact on the project, the community, and the planet. He is proud of what he leaves behind.

David enjoys his time in the shop as well as on-site installing and working closely with the client. He also enjoys posting content open social media at Instagram and Facebook to share the experiences with you on this journey.
